MAPNA Group has received the top contractor award in IMI100 annual ceremony held by Industrial Management Institute.
The corporation received the award for its performance in the fiscal year of March 21, 2017-March 20, 2018.
MAPNA Group achieved the overall rank of 23 in the Top 100 general list, sorted by annual sales, moving up one notch compared with last year.
The holding ranked 1st in the contractor companies’ category in terms of sales & income, and 10th in terms of added value.
Apart from the parent company, the Top 200 general list included nine MAPNA subsidiaries, including MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company (93), MAPNA Combined Cycle Power Plants Construction & Development Company (132), Neyr Perse (134), MAPNA Power Plant Construction & Development Company (143), Nasb Niroo (149), MAPNA Generator Engineering & Manufacturing Company (165), MAPNA Asaluyeh Power Generation Company (170), and MAPNA Operating & Maintenance Company (179).
Several MAPNA subsidiaries moved up in the long list, including MAPNA Combined Cycle Power Plants Construction & Development Company (+15), MAPNA Boiler and Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing Company (+42), MAPNA Power Plants Construction & Development Company (+4), MAPNA Generator Engineering and Manufacturing Company (+18), MAPNA Operating & Maintenance Company (+52), and MAPNA Tous Power Generation Company (+33).
Lower in the list were MAPNA Railway Operation Development & Maintenance Company (211), Alborz Turbine Power Plant Engineering & Support Company (219), MAPNA Tous Power Generation Company (242), MAPNA Parand Power Generation Company (275), MAPNA STS (297), MAPNA Mavadkaran Engineering Company (338), MAPNA Renewable Energies Generation Company (365), MAPNA Locomotive Engineering & Manufacturing Company (384), and Tehran Energy Consultants (499).
Five MAPNA subsidiaries ranked high in the Machinery and Equipment category, including MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company (1), MAPNA Boiler and Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing Company (4), MAPNA Generator Engineering & Manufacturing Company (5), MAPNA STS (18), and MAPNA Mavadkaran Engineering Company (20), while MAPNA Railway Operation Development & Maintenance Company ranked 27th in the Technical and Engineering Services category.
In the Energy category, MAPNA Asaluyeh Power Generation Company, MAPNA Operating & Maintenance Company, MAPNA Tous Power Generation Company, MAPNA Parand Power Generation Company, and MAPNA Renewable Energies Generation Company earned the ranks of 4, 5, 7, 9, and 14 respectively.
In the category of energy companies and in terms of Total Factor Productivity (TFP), MAPNA Tous Power Generation Company ranked 15th. MAPNA Combined Cycle Power Plants Construction & Development Company, Neyr Perse, MAPNA Power Plant Construction & Development Company, and Nasb Niroo ranked 8, 9, 11, and 13 respectively.
MAPNA Railway Operation Development & Maintenance Company (2), MAPNA Locomotive Engineering & Manufacturing Company (8), and Tehran Energy Consultants (14) topped the Technical and Engineering Services, while Alborz Turbine Power Plant Engineering & Support Company ranked 14th in the Commercial Services category.
MAPNA Asaluyeh Power Generation Company ranked 2nd in the 101-200 list of top companies in terms of return of sales (RoS), and 5th in the 101-200 list sorted according to profitability index.
MAPNA Renewable Energies Generation Company also topped the list of 301-400 companies in terms of rank improvement.
