{"id":30458,"date":"2018-08-18T15:57:18","date_gmt":"2018-08-18T15:57:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sabainv.com\/?p=30458"},"modified":"2022-08-30T05:32:02","modified_gmt":"2022-08-30T05:32:02","slug":"aliabad-power-plant-begins-operation-with-mapna-upgraded-turbines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sabainv.com\/en\/aliabad-power-plant-begins-operation-with-mapna-upgraded-turbines\/","title":{"rendered":"Aliabad Power Plant Begins Operation with MAPNA Upgraded Turbines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aliabad simple cycle power plant started a new phase of operation with MAPNA Group\u2019s upgraded turbines.<\/p>\n<p>Located in Golestan Province, northern Iran, the power plant had undergone a phase of rehabilitation and its V94.2 turbines were upgraded to MAP2B, MAPNA Group\u2019s homegrown turbine.<\/p>\n<p>Upgrading of the V94.2 turbines to MAP2B will increase the capacity of each unit by 21 megawatts and its efficiency by 2 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, there are 160 units of V92.2 turbines operating across Iran\u2019s power generation network. Upgrading the turbines to MAP2B can increase the overall capacity of Iran\u2019s power network by 3200 MWs.<\/p>\n<p>Eight V94.2 turbines have been upgraded by MAPNA Group so far.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Power Reza Ardakanian who had attended the inauguration ceremony called on the parliament to set a real price for electricity price.<\/p>\n<p>Ardakanian also called for speeding up the conversion of Aliabad simple cycle plant to combined cycle plant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MAPNA Group News<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aliabad simple cycle power plant started a new phase of operation with MAPNA Group\u2019s upgraded turbines.
